Our Current Project

Correlation of the Presence of Endotoxins in Humans that also Test Positive for Mycotoxins

Participants were invited to participate in a research study dealing with two (2) pathogens, “Mold and Environmental Bacteria”, more specifically their secondary metabolites, or the toxins (poisons) they each produce; Mold = Mycotoxins, Bacteria = Endotoxin. Currently there is only a single test available to the public for the detection of Mycotoxins. That test is limited and can only detect three (3) types of Mycotoxins; “Aflatoxin, Ochratoxin A and Trichothecene”. This study will examine the ratio of specimens with positive Mycotoxins results in comparison to the ratios of those specimens testing positive for Endotoxin, and held in comparison to the ratios of those specimens testing positive for both Endotoxin and Mycotoxin presenting a “co-exposure” (more than one pathogen present) of Endotoxin and Mycotoxins.
